Mermaid Studio privacy policy

Mermaid Studio: offline diagrams is a VS Code extension that previews Mermaid diagrams in .mmd and .mermaid files and in Markdown fences, on your own computer.

• No data collection. The extension collects no personal data, diagrams, usage statistics or telemetry, and sends nothing to DigiVibeTech.
• No network. Diagrams are drawn by a renderer bundled inside the extension. The preview's content security policy names no remote host and blocks network requests from diagrams. No CDN or online editor is used. No account is needed.
• Local processing only. Your files stay on your computer. Exported SVG and PNG files, and agent rule files you choose to write, are saved only where you tell the extension to save them.
• Pro trial and licence key. The 14-day Pro trial date is kept in VS Code's extension storage on your computer. A licence key you enter is checked locally on your computer. Neither contacts a licence server.
• Third parties. No analytics. VS Code, the Visual Studio Marketplace and Open VSX have their own privacy terms.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Mermaid Studio sends us no data. Removing the extension, or clearing its storage, deletes its local data.
