Reporting a bug in Markdown Export & llms.txt for Confluence
To help me resolve your issue quickly, please include:
- your Confluence Cloud site URL (for example
yoursite.atlassian.net) - what you exported: a single page, a page tree or a whole space
- the Markdown flavour (GitHub-flavoured Markdown or CommonMark) and whether you generated llms.txt or llms-full.txt
- what you expected and what happened; a screenshot or the problematic Markdown snippet helps
The app stores no data and makes no outbound calls, so I cannot see your content. Please share only what is needed and remove anything confidential.
Frequently asked questions
Does the app store or send my Confluence content anywhere?
No. It runs on Atlassian Forge, has read-only scopes, uses no storage and makes no outbound calls. See the privacy policy.
Can users export pages they cannot see?
No. Every request runs as the signed-in user, so Confluence permissions apply.
What is free and what is paid?
Single-page export (download or copy as Markdown with front-matter) is free. Choosing the Markdown flavour, bulk export of a space or page tree as a zip, and llms.txt / llms-full.txt generation require a paid license.
Why were some attachments missing from my zip?
In the current version an export covers up to 300 pages and includes attachments up to a combined 3 MB per zip. Skipped files are listed in the README.md inside the zip.
Is the app available for Confluence Data Center?
No, it is available for Confluence Cloud only.
