What TidyMD does with your data

• TidyMD converts web pages to Markdown entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store or transmit page content, browsing history, or any personal data.
• Settings (your template and Obsidian vault name) are stored using your browser's own sync storage.
• TidyMD Pro: if you choose to pay, ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe process your email address and payment details to manage your subscription. TidyMD only receives a "paid / not paid" status. See https://extensionpay.com/privacy and https://stripe.com/privacy.

What TidyMD does not include: no analytics, no ads, no third-party trackers.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. For TidyMD this is only Pro payment records held by our payment processors. Email [email protected].

AI chats (v1.1.0)

When you export a ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini chat, TidyMD reads only the conversation shown in your own browser tab, at the moment you click. It never calls those sites' internal APIs and sends nothing anywhere. Saved chats, folders, tags and prompts are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. Remove the extension or delete them in the Chat library to erase them.
