Create many Moneybird invoices from one Google Sheet. Fill in a row per invoice line, check the batch, and the kit makes draft invoices in your administration. You look at them in Moneybird first; sending is a separate step that only touches the rows you marked. Price: €15, one payment, no subscription.
What you get
- One sheet row per invoice line; rows with the same Invoice key become one invoice with several lines.
- A check before anything is created: missing contact, wrong price, unknown VAT rate or category, bad email address and conflicting rows are listed in the Note column.
- Draft invoices with VAT per line (21%, 9%, 0% or the exact rate name), category, reference, invoice date and payment term.
- Contacts found by customer ID, name or email address, and created when they do not exist yet (you can switch that off).
- Workflow and layout per batch from the settings tab.
- Sending only for rows with "yes" in the Send column, after a confirmation prompt. An invoice that was already sent is never sent again.
- Status and invoice number back in the sheet, a log tab, and one menu item to delete the drafts you no longer want.
How it works
The script runs in your own Google account and talks to the official Moneybird API with your own Moneybird app or token. It stays below Moneybird's limit of 150 requests per 5 minutes and creates at most 40 invoices per run by default.
Privacy
Your invoice data goes from your sheet to your Moneybird administration and nowhere else.
Limits
- You need a Moneybird account and permission to create an app or API token for the administration.
- Prices are excluding VAT unless you set pricesInclVat to yes.
- Invoices in another currency than the administration default, discounts per line and recurring invoices are not part of this kit.
- Large batches run in parts: about 40 invoices per run, so 200 invoices take five runs or a few minutes of waiting.
- Moneybird only allows deleting drafts. Sent invoices are changed or credited in Moneybird itself.
